Sleeping on Grandma

I was making a big fuss after drinking milk as I wanted to continue to suckle to sleep, but grandma insists that its a BAD habit...sob sob sob...

So, she carried me on the sofa and patted me to sleep.

Never mind, as long as someone is carrying me, I don't mind not suckling..heehee, so happy...

Zzzzzzzzz, after 15mins, I am getting real drowsy.....Nite nite...

Me and my 'Papapillar'

Mummy got me a caterpillar!!! Weird color this caterpillar has - Black, red, white...Mummy claims that I can only see these 3 colors now since I am only 7 weeks old :)

We decided to name him - Papapillar...

What? You want me to play with you? But I only know how to play punch punch now..No problem? Ok, lets play then...PUNCH PUNCH PUNCH.....ABISH....ABISH.....I am the winner as Papapillar has already surrendered..YEAH..

1st uncle's 46th Birthday

'Bed of Blue Roses'

God-grandma is so good with her hands that she has personally made a pillow and a bolster for me, together wif many extra pillow and bolster casings :)

And when I went to visit her at The Heritage View, she has prepared a comfortable bed for me to sleep in...


Zzzzzzz, see, I am indeed enjoying my afternoon nap on my 'Bed of Blue Roses'....Note the little flat pillow under my head and the bolster beside me...

6-in-1 Jab

I just turned 6 week old today and mummy brought me to Kid's Clinic at Rivervale Mall for my Hep B - 2nd dose, DPT/DT - 1st dose,Polio vaccine - 1st dose injection.

Nurse also took my weight and length today..I am 4.6kg now, increased 1.8kg from the day I was discharged from hospital. And I am 56.5cm long, increased 9.5cm so far.Head circumference is 37cm.

Here's a picture of injection taken at my left thigh. I was a brave boy, only 'waaaaa' once when kena poked...heehee, cos I was having my comfort suck :)

Me on My Rocker Chair

Grandma & grandpa have just gotten me this blue netted rocker chair from Kiddy Palace.

Since I disliked sleeping on the bed in the daytime, mummy has thought of a way to make me sleep......on this netted rocker (a substitute for yao lan).

True enough I enjoyed my afternoon nap on this rocker..(but not for long..haha).. Even my kor kor Snoopy and jie jie Chloe wanted to sleep in it too but mummy stopped them.

A Trip to Mummy's Gynae Clinic

Mummy says she has to go for checkup today at her gynae's . Since there is nothing to do at home, me & daddy decided to go with her, can shop shop at Compasspoint too. heehee..

In the clinic, there was soooo many people as usual...We waited for 45mins before its mummy's turn...Anyway,here's a picture of Dr Adrian Woodworth , daddy and me.. Cheers..



I look so small compared to Dr...hmmm, never mind, one day I will grow up and be tall and strong :)

Tummy tummy Time

After a nice warm bath, mummy decided to put me on my tummy to play today. She wanted to put me on my new Yellow Bear bumper mat but daddy said its still not cleaned yet, so I am left on the bed to play instead.

Its really fun to be on my tummy...I tried to lift my head up, and used my legs to kick myself forward. Mummy said I am a strong boy, kicked myself forward by a few centimetres :) Thanks to the weekly herbal soups that god grandma used to brew for her when she was preggie with me,these made me strong,heehee.

Mummy and daddy cheered me on as I tried to turn my head from left to right. After 10mins, I did it!!! But silly mummy was not fast enough to catch me on video...sigh, wasted my effort..anyway, I am just so proud of myself. First time put on tummy and I could turn my head already.

A Messy Day

Mummy had been so worried for the past few days....all because of me, not pooing everyday....from many times a day to not at all for 2 whole days..

I had poo-ed once in every 2-3 days since 19 Nov and mummy had been asking around whether is it normal for total breast-fed babies to poo once in a blue blue moon....
and the answer is YES :) phew...wat a relief.

Then today, I gave mummy, daddy, god grandma, grandma and 2 aunties the greatest shock of their life.....

I poo-ed alot alot alot alot today!!! haha...let me tell you the story :

It started off with god grandma claiming that my diapers are so heavy, full of urine. Mummy said it was 3 hours since my last change. Thus, they decided to change me.

Then daddy took off my diaper, and was glad to see there is poo in my diaper. He happily cleaned the poo off my butt and was applying Drapolene cream when I shot out another bout of poo.

Wet tissues were shoved into daddy's hands to re-clean me again..

Smart daddy wasn't so sure that I have already finished my business, so he waited..True enough, I released another bout of yellowish sluggish poo onto the changing mat..

Now, thinking that I have already cleared my bowels, daddy started to clean..haha, i tricked him this time with my 4th and last bout of poo onto his hands....ALL SCREAMED... :P

Different faces of a 5 week old baby

Good evening!! I am cute !!!!as stated on my T-shirt....heehee, I am 5 weeks and 2 days old today..and boy, can you see how much I have grown?
From mummy's not-so-accurate weighing machine, I weigh approximately 4.3kg today....gained 1.45kg from the day I was discharged from TMC...hmmm, is it alot in 5weeks? But why mummy says I do not look chubby enough?

Ok, enough of photo-taking, I am getting really tired....YAWN....

Told you that I m tired..... this is my Grump grump look... mummy and daddy say I always have a grumpy look.......hmmmmm

Grandpa's Birthday

Its grandpa's 54th year old birthday today. As I am still less than a month old, the celebration is held in my house. :)

Paid $100 for the Newborn Mobile package taken at our hospital ward.

Special thanks to Fanny and Alvin from Dphotofolio for their patience and understanding throughout the whole photoshoot as Sean was super cranky due to the fact that its his dinner milk feeding time and also the flash from Alvin's camera. They even offered to come back an hour later so that I can feed Sean his milk first.

17 October 2007, The Arrival of Our little Noutti

16 Oct 11pm: Admitted to TMC due to contractions...Check up at gynae's clinic at 7pm earlier and I was 2cm dilated and baby's head was engaged. Bladder and bowels were cleared.

17 Oct 12am: Waterbag was burst by gynae.

2am: 3cm Dilated. Pain was starting to get unbearable. Especially on the back. Could not move at all on bed.

3am: Epidural was administered. Afterwhich, I slept for about an hour.

4am: Nurse came in to check my dilation and I had already dilated to 8cm. Bladder was too full. Thus bladder was cleared by nurse.

415am: Full dilation. Gynae was called in.

430am: Gynae came. Started to ask me to push...Can't feel a thing due to the effect of epidural.

5am: Baby's heartbeat reduced. Forceps had to be used.

5.05am: Baby's First Cry could be heard...

Finally get to see our little prince after 5hrs of labour at Thomson Medical Centre. First reaction when nurse brought him into my arms: Oh my, really can't believe that I am finally holding on to Sean, after 38 weeks of waiting and counting down.

Thank God for my safe and smooth delivery...
